How It All Began…
Fort Lauderdale 1949, the streets had Studebakers, Packard’s, and Desoto’s; Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, and the Andrews sisters were on the radio; Bahia Mar opened; and Sun Power Diesel was born!
Sun Power Diesel began business as Ellis Diesel Sales & Service Inc, a service and repair facility on the uncrowded and easy going New River working on Grey Marine engines and the venerable Detroit Diesel, “Jimmies” back when Chris Craft was king. Man how things have changed…
